FOUNDER
Michael F. Maroto, Esq.
Mr. Maroto is the senior attorney and founder of The Maroto Law Group. With an extensive understanding of the law, he brings vast knowledge and valuable insight into every litigation case that he takes on. Over his legal career he has specialized in the areas of finance and business as it relates to the law.
With his unique legal background he is sought out to handle some of the most complicated business and litigation cases. Mr. Maroto practices in specific areas of law including business law, estate law and family law. With over two decades of legal experience under his belt, he has acquired invaluable negotiation, valuation and litigation skills. These skills are priceless when it comes to resolving complex high net worth divorce cases, property division disputes and the distribution of business assets.
In addition to being a licensed attorney, Mr. Maroto holds master's level degrees in business and finance and is a recognized IDFA Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. He is also a trained mediator and member of the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators.
Mr. Maroto also has commercial litigation experience in the field of negotiating and constructing stock and asset purchase agreements. In addition he is highly adept in resolving complicated commercial tax and securities issues. He also has extensive experience in property valuation, financial structuring, the transferring of stocks and other commercial litigation matters.
Legal Education
Mr. Maroto earned his Juris Doctor degree from Widener's Delaware School of Law in Pennsylvania. He also received his M.B.A. while attending the Widener Graduate School of Business.
Previous Careers
Before practicing law, Mr. Maroto worked in the corporate field of investment banking. During this time he primarily assisted with the sales and purchases of privately-held companies.
